These Roussanne grapes were grown at the Camp 4 Vineyard which lies a couple of miles southeast of Roblar Winery. A small amount of Viognier from Roblar Estate Vineyard was added to highlight the floral notes of this rich and flavorful wine.
Harvest: October 5th
Fermentation: The grapes were picked in the cool morning and immediately pressed. After chilling and settling the juice, the clear juice was racked into French oak barrels and fermented at a cool temperature to retain fresh fruit flavors while gaining roundness during barrel fermentation.
Cooperage / Aging: The wine was aged for 4 months in 2-4 year old French oak barrels.
